We are pleased to announce the launch of our new work experience scheme

From April 2022, we are pleased to offer unpaid work experience placements in the following areas at our Chelmsford site:

• (1A) Term-time Generic Engineering/Technical placements encompassing exposure to multiple departments within both our Space Imaging and RF Power divisions (duration: one week, availability: multiple, throughout the year)
• (1B) Single Day Generic Engineering/Technical placements encompassing exposure to multiple departments within both our Space Imaging and RF Power divisions (duration: one day, availability: multiple, throughout the year)
• (1C) Summer Break Generic Engineering/Technical placements encompassing exposure to multiple departments within both our Space Imaging and RF Power divisions (duration: one week, availability: multiple, during school holidays)
• Space Imaging Engineering/Technical placements within the following areas:
  • (2A) Product Technology & Verification (duration: two weeks, availability: one placement)
  • (2B) Electronics and Systems Engineering (duration: two weeks, availability: one placement)
  • (2C) Manufacturing (duration: four weeks, availability: one placement)
• (3) Business Administration placements encompassing exposure to general administrative and reception-based activity (duration: one week, availability: two placements)

Depending on the work experience option, candidates will be hosted by either our current and former Apprentices, or employees working in the relevant business area.

To register your interest in completing a work experience placement with us, please email [email protected] with the following information:

• Your name
• The work experience placement that you would like to apply for (please state either option 1A, 1B, 1C, 2A, 2B, 2C or 3 from the above list of options)
• Whether there are any specific dates that you would prefer/need to undertake a placement on (e.g. dates specified by your school/college)

You will also need to complete this questionnaire  and include it in your email.
